How much each animal you sold actually made you
What came in is not what you kept. When you sell an animal from your herd, AURA subtracts what it cost and its expenses, and tells you what you really made.

What you need: AURA AGRO IA 10.8.0 or newer and the Pro plan (cattle sales are part of Pro).
Step by step
- Open Cattle sales.
- In Search your herd (ear tag or name), type the tag or the name and pick the animal. AURA fills in its name, its tag and, if you recorded it at registration, what it cost.
- Enter the sale weight and the price per kilo. AURA works out the total.
- Enter what it cost to buy (blank if it was born on your farm) and other costs: health, feed, freight, commission.
- Look at the What this animal left you card: the profit, the percentage on what you invested and the kilos it gained since its first weight.
- Fill in the buyer, the movement permit and the reason, and tap Record sale.
What happens when you save
- The animal is marked sold and no longer counts in your inventory.
- The money goes into Finances by itself as a cattle sale.
- In History each sale shows what it left you, with the profit from all sales at the top.
Tip: when you register an animal you bought, record what it cost. That way, the day you sell it, the math is done for you.
